White Villages was founded in 1990 in the little village of Gaucin – one of the “Pueblos Blancos” of Spain, by Sandie Lenton and her late husband Tony Forrest. The agency pioneered the “rural tourism” concept and specialized in the sales and rentals of village and country properties. In 1995 they opened a second office in the fishing village of Castillo de la Duquesa continuing the theme of selling more interesting properties than the standard two bedroom apartment.
Since those early days the agency has widened via the internet and now offers properties around the globe, although still concentrating on those areas which offer something special to the purchaser. In the Philippines they have properties for sale on the white beach island of Boracay; In Malaysia they concentrate on the lovely island destination of Penang and soon Phuket and Bali will join those island locations along with other unique situations.
It is the policy of White Villages to offer properties which are not just lovely homes but also those which offer great potential investment opportunities.
